ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Excellence in Data Center Construction, Design & Engineering Forum is TBM Group’s flagship US industry gathering, taking place in Las Vegas and designed to address the accelerating challenges and opportunities in delivering the next generation of data centers across North America. This closed-door forum brings together senior leaders from data center operators, hyperscalers, cloud providers, developers, contractors, engineering and design firms, technology partners, and key stakeholders shaping the sector across the United States, with a strong focus on Nevada’s rapidly evolving data center landscape.

The forum highlights forward-thinking innovations, best practices, and strategic insights shaping data center construction and design in the US today. With Nevada emerging as a strategic hub for new capacity—driven by access to land, evolving energy strategies, and proximity to major West Coast demand—attendees will gain practical insights through expert presentations, high-level panel discussions, and case studies from major projects across the region, alongside senior-level networking with peers actively delivering large-scale infrastructure.

Why this event?

The US data center market is entering a new phase of expansion, driven by AI workloads, high-performance computing, hyperscale cloud growth, and edge deployments. Nevada, and Las Vegas in particular, is gaining momentum as an alternative growth market, offering development opportunities while also presenting challenges around power availability, water usage, and long-term sustainability. Developers are under increasing pressure to deliver large-scale, energy-efficient, and resilient facilities at speed, while navigating permitting processes, utility constraints, and evolving state-level frameworks.

This year’s forum will address the key construction and engineering priorities shaping delivery across the US and Nevada. These include modular and prefabricated construction strategies to accelerate timelines, power infrastructure planning and grid integration, cooling innovations suited to arid climates, heavy-lift and logistics planning for large-scale campuses, and end-to-end constructability for hyperscale and AI-ready facilities.

In addition, the agenda will explore critical topics such as onsite and offsite energy strategies, navigating utility interconnection and permitting in Nevada, advanced fire protection and safety systems, effective site selection and land development approaches, and workforce readiness in a highly competitive construction environment.

As demand accelerates and infrastructure constraints intensify, this forum provides a timely platform for senior industry leaders to exchange practical solutions, benchmark delivery strategies, and shape the future of data center development across the US, with a clear lens on Nevada’s next wave of growth.
