4th Annual Design, Construction & Engineering Forum for Data Centers
4th Annual Design, Construction & Engineering Forum for Data Centers
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The 4th Annual Construction, Design & Engineering of Data Centers Forum is TBM Group’s flagship European industry gathering, taking place on 2–3 September 2026 in Barcelona. The forum is designed to address the accelerating challenges and opportunities in delivering next-generation data center infrastructure across Europe at scale.
This closed-door, invite-only event brings together senior leaders from data center operators, hyperscalers, cloud providers, investors, contractors, engineering and design firms, and technology suppliers. It is a focused environment for strategic exchange between the stakeholders directly responsible for designing, financing, and delivering Europe’s digital infrastructure capacity.
The agenda will highlight practical innovation, delivery strategies, and execution models shaping the industry today. Through senior-level presentations, focused panel discussions, technical case studies, and high-value networking, attendees will gain direct insight into how leading organisations are adapting delivery approaches to meet the demands of AI, cloud expansion, and high-density compute infrastructure.

WHY THIS EVENT?
Europe’s digital infrastructure landscape is entering a critical phase of acceleration, driven by AI workloads, cloud expansion, and the rapid growth of high-density compute. At the same time, the industry is facing increasing pressure on power availability, permitting timelines, construction capacity, and delivery speed.
This environment is fundamentally reshaping how data centers are designed and built. Developers and operators are increasingly adopting industrialised construction methods, modular and prefabricated design approaches, and more integrated end-to-end delivery models to reduce build times and improve predictability. At the same time, engineering teams are navigating complex constraints around grid connections, energy availability, sustainability requirements, and multi-jurisdictional regulation.
The 2026 forum will focus on the real execution challenges behind this transformation, including constructability at hyperscale, electrical and mechanical integration for high-density AI facilities, site delivery strategies under grid constraints, commissioning complexity, and supply chain resilience. It will also address emerging approaches to energy strategy, including on-site generation, storage integration, and advanced infrastructure planning for constrained urban and edge environments.
As demand continues to outpace supply, this forum provides a critical platform for Europe’s senior industry leaders to share practical experience, benchmark delivery approaches, and define how the next generation of data centers will be designed and constructed.
