About the Conference

In today’s fast-developing chemical and energy production sectors, catalysis has an increasingly pivotal role. This, due to the impact of global challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, pollution, erosion of our planet. These threats are extremely urgent and solutions need to be found fast. The theme of sustainability is without a doubt a key challenge when it comes to catalysis development – Traditional raw materials have to be substituted with more sustainable resources; new cleaner and intensified processes have to be developed; new production concepts need to be developed to boost efficiency.

Companies are investing heavily into catalysis R&D. This forum will provide a platform for discussion around where companies stand in terms of sustainability measurement, and how catalysts can improve energy efficiency and reduce negative footprints. Ultimately, we need to know how catalysis will look like in the future, where we do not have that access to raw materials and energy supply.

Join us to learn more about:

  • Transition to the circular and bio-economy
  • A focus on sustainability and green chemistry
  • Overcoming challenges in computational catalysis
  • Electrification for sustainable catalysis development
  • Excellence in catalytic remediation for environmental and energy applications
  • Advancements in industrial catalysis and process engineering
