About the Conference
Ensuring a reliable power supply during energy crises creates constant pressure on the local electric utility. Nevertheless, not all utilities have invested time and resources to make sure that their clients have constant access to continuous power. The main question appears whether introducing power blackouts will be necessary to conserve electricity.
Furthermore, the number of unplanned power outages is rising globally and is expected to rise even more due to aging components in networks, third-party damage, extreme weather conditions, and accelerated integration of renewable energy. In addition, renewable energy sources that are not depleted when used, are making the network grid unstable due to their volatile character.
Therefore, it is important for us to approach the topic from a strategic and technical perspective: congestion management, outage management during energy crises, stability issues of distributed generation, etc. This highly interactive forum will host senior-level participants from the major European network operators and will aim to answer all questions during the Q&A sessions and open discussions. The highlight of the event will also be focusing on the topic of restoring Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities.
The focus of all our expert speaker presentations stays on the solutions to these issues. Participants will be leaving with clear, practical ideas about how to improve their outage management.
Join us in March to hear more about:
- Total blackouts in Europe: Outage management during energy crises
- Energy transition requiring network expansion: How do we manage it rapidly?
- Flexibility for congestion management
- Outage management optimization through best practice data analytics
- Grid reliability improvement: How do you achieve it?
- Energy transition increasing congestion in the electricity network
- Overcoming stability issues caused by electricity generation in customers’ homes
- Overcoming the stability issues of distributed generation
