ELECTRIFICATION, FUEL CELL &
BATTERY DEVELOPMENT FOR
MARINE VESSELS FORUM
About the Conference
The future of the marine industry will be electric. With advancements in technology, new Green targets and increasing oil prices, we must look to alternative fuels to power marine vessels. Whether this be in professionals applications such as logistics and transport, or for pleasure with leisure crafts such as yachts and speedboats there is a paradigm shift in the industry and all sectors must prepare themselves.
When it comes to electrification we have a number of options available, and organizations are now exploring the possibilities provided by the likes of hydrogen & ammonia fuel cells, as well as batteries to develop the vessels of the future and retrofitting projects. Yet the electrification of the marine industry cannot sit on the shoulders of the shipbuilders & propulsion manufacturers alone. This fundamental shift is also driven by developments in battery & fuel cell technology, recycling and of course regulatory bodies such as the EU who must support these changes with effective strategy and regulation.
In is therefore with this understanding that TBM Group brings you two days of presentations and the opportunity to network with industry leaders in the field of electrification and fuel cell development.
